Spectrum Healthcare Group (Cottonwood, Arizona) contracted with BenefitElect, Inc. in August 2014 to transition their enrollment to BenefitElect’s benefit administration platform. As the second annual enrollment approached in the late summer of 2015, Spectrum requested the addition of several voluntary benefits to their benefits program to include Short-Term Disability, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, Critical Illness and Long-Term Care. The team at BenefitElect worked jointly with their sister company, Communication Partners, Inc. to develop an effective communications campaign that included a series of written content, comparisons, animated video and design aimed at providing all employees of Spectrum with the right information needed to make confident and informed benefits decisions. Ease of navigation within BenefitElect and the proper order of benefits made large contributions to the success of this enrollment. Over the course of open enrollment, 150 of 151 Spectrum employees successfully self-enrolled. 

Enrollment data was successfully provided to the carriers and payroll. All new hire employees in 2016 may enroll on BenefitElect once eligible, whereby their elections will be electronically fed via a scheduled report.
