Sealaska (Juneau, Alaska & Bellevue, Washington) contracted with BenefitElect, Inc. in October 2015 to implement BenefitElect’s benefits administration platform. During implementation, the BenefitElect team loaded core benefit plans in addition to voluntary Life, Accident, Employee Critical Illness and Spouse Critical Illness products. The team also worked closely with their sister company, Communication Partners, Inc. to develop and host a series of written, comparison and animated video communications to be embedded on the BenefitElect system. Enrollers met with all Sealaska employees and assisted with enrollment. Over the course of open enrollment, 261 of 261 Sealaska employees successfully enrolled.

Enrollment data was successfully provided to all carriers and payroll. All new hire employees in 2016 may enroll on BenefitElect once eligible, whereby their elections will be electronically fed via a scheduled report.
